Consultation Appointment

Your first visit to our office will be a complimentary consultation for you or your child. Dr. Bailey will carefully examine the teeth and jaws, as well as evaluating the structure and development of the bones and soft tissue in the face to determine how orthodontic treatment could improve the appearance, health, and function of the patient. Once the doctor has a clear picture of the best treatment options, we will discuss what type of treatment is necessary, how long it will take, and estimate how much it will cost. Our goal for this appointment is to provide you with all of the information you need in order to make an informed decision about orthodontic treatment.

Records Appointment

If you decide to proceed with treatment after your consultation appointment, records are then made to allow Dr. Bailey to confirm her diagnosis and to document the state of your teeth, gums, and bones before treatment begins. Complete diagnostic records typically include study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.

After the doctor has thoroughly evaluated your diagnostic records, we'll explain your treatment to you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.

For our patient's conveniences, we offer low radiation digital X-rays on-site. 

Regular Appointments

After the records appointment, we'll be ready to schedule an appointment to have your new appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) placed. That process usually takes about one hour. You'll then see us at regular intervals of four to eight weeks for adjustments, which take about 15 to 30 minutes.

Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask you to extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
